Accreditation
- National Security Inspectorate (NSI) Gold scheme for the Design, Installation and Maintenance of Electronic Security Systems in accordance with Quality Schedule SSQS 101.
- To ensure compliance with Health & Safety issues, Capstan are accredited Members of the SAFE contractor scheme.
- Principal Members of the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) since 1994.
- Metropolitan Police Alarm Performance Gold Award 2006. This prestigious Gold Award was presented to the company for the management and reduction of false alarms in the Metropolitan Police Authority area.
Industry Standards
- Intruder Alarms - installed to comply with PD6662:2004, the UK implementation of European Standards EN 50131and DD243:2004.
- Automatic Fire Detection Systems - installed, commissioned and maintained to comply with BS 5839:2002.
- CCTV Systems - installed, commissioned and maintained to comply with the National Security Inspectorate Code of Practice NACP 20.
- Access Control Systems - installed, commissioned and maintained to comply with the National Security Inspectorate Code of Practice NACP 30.
Your System
Capstan is an independent Company and therefore not tied to any particular manufacturer.
This enables us to assess and evaluate each product based on the products merits to provide our customers with a reliable quality system at competitive costs.
Our products are purchased from our approved suppliers list, which only includes manufacturers with a similar approach to quality as our own high standards.
New products are evaluated and tested for at least 12 months before joining our product range.
This policy ensures Quality Control so that only the very best of the industry’s products are provided to our customers.
Your system will be installed by our trained engineers who have been security screened in accordance with BS:7858:2004. In addition our operational staff are accredited with CSCS Health & Safety Cards and the company is a member of the SAFE contractor scheme.
